Nice vibe, liked the decor.
Drinks are ok.

Jerk salmone was to die for. Rice was bit bland. Goat curry wasn't impresive. No moo burger, tried much better vegg alternatives.

Overall nice cute place.

I hadn’t been in Crawley for years, and so I was surprised by this spacious, cool, friendly place with a great menu, and even more surprised by the brilliant deal they have with the carpark right next door, which means if you’re eating there, the carparking is free until midnight. Turtle Bay is part of a chain, but the food doesn’t taste like the usual bland franchise food you often find in chains. This food is seasoned, they have fresh chillis and interesting salad ingredients. Excellent service and a great drinks menu. Strongly recommended.

Good atmosphere and service however I felt the food could do with some improvement in terms of execution (the taste was fine as were the cocktails).

First off the Garlic Pit Prawns. The prawns came cooked in the shell (personally not a fan of this but it is what it is), and while well seasoned and tasty, it was not deveined, which put me right off.

The Jerk Chicken arrived much faster than I anticipated but was unfortunately lukewarm and much to my surprise, wasn't actually that hot. It tasted fine but I wish it was a little hotter (in both heat and spice levels).

Finally, I ordered the poached pineapple, and while again it wasn't bad, some of the pieces were too hard and in too big a chunks to be truly enjoyable as a dessert. In fact, I could probably have done with a knife to cut some of the chunks into smaller and softer pieces.

I'd like to think these are minor issues that could easily be resolved and I did enjoy my time at the restaurant. I should also point out it was good value for money, especially the 2 for 1 cocktail deal. I paid less than £50 a head for 4 cocktails (2 of which were free), and a 3 course meal.

Booked a Sunday lunch here today for a family member's birthday, as they're a big fan of the franchise. I've never been, but I'll definitely come again! I was very impressed.

Delicious food, attentive and friendly staff, and 2-4-1 cocktails (although we didn't make the most of that).

Excellent food and a great atmosphere every time!

The food here is outstanding, but be prepared that the majority of the menu items are spicy.

Staff are acommodating to allergies and other dietary preferences.

Cocktails are excellent value during their very long happy hours, but in the short window where there is no happy hour, the cocktails are more expensive than average.

It's not the first time I come here, but I know it's always a reliable source of good service (and alcohol. Look at the pictures)
Thanks to the advices from Chiara and the bartender, I truly enjoyed the double cocktail I ordered (Jamaican wake up). Incredibly helpful, good environment, perfectly themed with what they claim to be (Caribbeans? They got it!), that's definitely a good place to be for anything, from a quick booze to a stuffing dinner.

I liked the place. Went for brunch there and really enjoyed it. The food is so good, so much flavours, spices, so delicious. It is unique in its taste. Cocktails do not have enough alcohol but its ok as I would not expect strong cocktails especially on limitless brunch. But were really nice.
I would definitely go here again and recommend it to everyone
