Last week I had an emergency with a heavy door where a hinge had come adrift and the door could not be shut or opened . My first choice , from local carpenters , was JLA Carpentry , Taplow . What a great pick that was . Spoke to Mr, Levett and after explaining my problem to him had his assurance that he would get back to me after contacting one of his men . He rang me in 6 minutes to say that one of his carpenters would be with me in half an hour . Sure enough , Richard turned up , on time ; assessed the problem and set about fixing it. I knew it was not an ‘ easy fix ‘ and considerable expertise was employed to right the problem . On a personal note , I found Richard a really nice man and a great ambassador for his company . Would highly recommend this company for their expertise , courtesy , and great service , which I had thought was lost in the melee of modern living .
