Arranged to meet with Simon from ICS for a fully-furnished start of tenancy clean one month in advance. On day, Simon did not show up at the 8am arranged time. I contacted him at 8:30 and he said he had flood problems at home but didn't let me know despite having my email.

Simon eventually showed up at 9:15am. I had some personal belongings on the kitchen table which I hadn't had time to put into my handbag yet, was washing towels that were due to remain in the flat, and obviously with the flat being rented 'fully furnished' items in the kitchen (kettle, toaster, cups etc) remained. Simon turned literally livid within 30 seconds and I was then subjected to an amazing display of intimidating and aggressive behaviour because I had left 'personal belongings' out and he 'did not work like that'.

I am visibly, heavily pregnant (was due in two weeks!) and tried to explain to Simon that I could remove the items from the kitchen table and put them in my handbag if that is what he preferred and the wash cycle was about to end ( I even apologised to appease him but I was working slower than usual due to pregnancy) but he was completely irrational, did not reason and angrily raised his voice at me, demanding to know which agency I was with - when I said I was renting it independently (but an agency had recommended him) he said 'This is why you need an agency!' and then left the property and slammed my front door very loudly!!

I was in total shock and dismay by how he had treated me and the whole situation. He was a rude, aggressive little man calling himself "a professional" but clearly he has some serious anger issues which he is unable to contain even in his work. I had noticed an awkward, unsociable edge to him when he first came over to give the initial quote so I really should have trusted my instinct back then.

Luckily, I was able to find a true professional who stepped in for less than half the price ICS offered and I shall be using them again for my other check ins/outs.

I don't know about ICS's cleaning ability but I wouldn't recommend them based on the unprofessional attitude of the staff.

He was very aggressive lost hist temper on the phone, and cancelled on me. I would stay away. I should have looked at this review before booking ICS.

We used this company to do a clean on our flat to ensure we got our deposit back. Simon was Fantastic - 100% trustworthy, honest and reliable turned up when he said and the price was much more reasonable than we expected. We got an email from the agents today to release our deposit - no deductions - what more can be said apart from without a doubt we'd recommend Simon for any cleaning work and will use him again in the future.

Simon is delightful, very warm and genuine human being. You immediately feel in trustworthy hands. After he left, the carpet was gleaming! He was also lovely with my little dog, and very helpful regarding picking up the key when I was out. Thoroughly recommended.

When we came to move in, the house was filthy—awkward as our tenancy began directly after the landlord's family moved out! It was cleaned by this cleaner, recommended by our estate agent. We informed the estate agent that the house was still very dirty (tub and sink were visibly unclean and the bathroom had a very bad odor, kitchen cabinets dirty and dishwasher absolutely crusted in filth, windows and wood floors very dirty) and they called him back, but his second pass didn't actually improve much. When we complained directly to him, he basically said it was too much work, he saw that it wasn't clean, but he'd already cleaned twice and wasn't going to do it again! The estate agents didn't care and we ultimately had to clean everything thoroughly ourselves. It's 4 years later now and we're looking for someone else to do our end of tenacy clean so the next renters aren't subject to this.

Unreliable and rude. I initially booked Simon on the recommendation of my landlord for an end of tenancy clean. He provided a reasonable quote and booked my clean in. However, when it came to the day, he didn't turn up. When I called, I was told there was no record of my booking, despite me having multiple emails confirming that the clean had been booked in, and discussing my leaving a key for him. Simon was extremely rude on the phone, no apology was given, and the conversation ended with him announcing there was nothing he could do, before hanging up on me.
This caused huge inconvenience to myself and my landlord, as another cleaner had to be booked on very short notice.
I can't give any insight into his cleaning ability, but I would advise you avoid!

I'm a professional residential and commercial landlord in Cambridge and have been for the last 20 years. This company was recommended by a Cambridge letting agent, they never turned up or called on the day they were due to complete an end of tenancy clean. I strongly advise any agents, landlords or tenants not to use this company. Very un-professional! Looking at earlier reviews this happens all the time with this company.

Was recommended by our letting agency as an end-of-tenancy clean, but initially we were skeptical due to the high number of low reviews on Google. The letting agent said that you have to confirm the booking through Simon's web system, and that a lot of people don't seem to do that and somehow think they have confirmed the booking and then end up surprised and upset.

As for the actual clean, there was nothing to fault. Simon did an incredible job of cleaning the entire property (lots of cream carpets!). Would use again!
