5 Star Floor Care

Darren did an excellent job of cleaning our settees and carpets. He managed to get the stains out of both the carpets and the settee which the previous company we used didn't manage to do. 5 star carpet care was great value and great service, will definitely use again.

Darren has been excellent to work with. He did a lovely job sanding and varnishing the whole downstairs of our house. He communicated with us throughout giving us a lot of options and advise as we were clueless! Will be using him again and have passed on his details to family and friends.

I can't recommend Darren highly enough. We had a build up of old polish applied to our wooden flooring, it had worn away in places and generally looked a mess. Darren was able to remove the polish and clean our floor leaving it looking brand new. I feared it would have to be sanded down but Darren took great care to keep the original finish. I would definitely use him again. Friendly and a great professional service.

I used Darren to clean two sofas. All work was done quickly & thoroughly and the sofas look like new after the cleaning. Very happy with the service and price paid, would recommend Darren and his team highly.

Darren was a professional from start to finish. He came and provided a quote the day I called him, and managed to fit me in within days as I wanted it done before guests came. He kept me informed about the time he would arrive, worked solidly throughout the day and my tile floor looks like new now.

Darren renewed our 3mm engineered wood floor which had multiple scratches and was ingrained with dust after building works. He was the only company to offer to view the floor beforehand and even provided a sample of the potential finish that could be achieved based on a spare plank. Darren and his colleague arrived on time and worked until 7pm to get the job (buffing and re-oiling twice) done in one day (sensitive to the fact I am due to give birth any day). He also added on sanding of the new nursery room structural floorboards for a reasonable price and moved the furniture out of there for me. He was very personable, tidy, and respectful protecting all skirtings and surfaces prior to working, and I felt comfortable leaving them in my home alone. The floor is completely transformed, better than new. We really cannot recommend highly enough and if we hadn't run out of money would have liked to have given him a bonus. Honestly the best experience we have had with a trades person in years. The only criticism I can think of is that Darren was initially hard to get hold of but I guess that's because he is so busy. Definitely worth the wait though. Thank you so much Darren and pass our thanks to your colleague!

Darren is absolutely amazing and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He has been able to remove every stain on our floors and sofas which is no small feat considering I have an 18 month old! He is punctual, reliable, efficient and a pleasure to have in the house. Everything looked spotless and as good as new after he had been.

We used 5 star recently and I couldn’t recommend them enough. They worked incredibly hard, they’re pleasant to deal with, reasonably priced and the results were outstanding.
