Very extensive range of carpets & flooring, with really helpful staff on hand should you need them. Well worth a visit.

Had a karndean floor fitted by hardy&draper after 2 years the vinyl planks stated lifting, phoned hardy and draper, the said not there problem only 12month fitting guarantee!!
Just had work put right by red carpets who said hadn't been fitted well and no membrane £3500!! Wouldn't recommend

November fit / September visit. Excellent customer service and carpet fit, went to hardy and draper for there huge selection of carpets. Graham was very patient , helpful and knowledgeable. It took me weeks going back and fourth to take samples and choose the right carpet for my little cottage. But with Graham s help and patience with me. I got the perfect carpet/ bathroom floor ,and stair s runner. And oak door bars. Graham new his stuff. Recommended me to go black for the whipping around the runner on the stairs. It's great when you enter a big chain shop and a member of staff takes interest in the customer and runs the shop like it's there own. Had Philip to fit. He was great too. Polite , respectful & professional. Moved all the bed , furniture and placed it all back with out any problems or asking for any help. Thanks earl Shilton team for helping me.amd being so kind. I wouldn't recommend this company to any one in the area, the out dated store, which has been taken over recently, has plummeted its customer service ever since. The guy and lady running this shop now bring their own problems in to the store i was told on more than one occasion that the lady had some personal problems and i must forgive her forgetfulness because of this. Her forgetfulness ruined a fitting date and lack of communication meant there where several other problems along the way.
These two staff running the store seriously need some customer service training, or maybe a side step to allow younger more customer friendly staff to take over.
The guys attitude when I was picking carpets was one of couldn't care less if you buy something or not....in fact he didn't leave his chair and desk at all during the 45 minutes i was in store viewing carpets, and he felt it acceptable to answer my questions from his desk shouting across the store...
The whole customer journey felt like something from a 1980s Carry On Film....
Its understandable why customers head towards places like Fosse Park or town centre larger more recognised stores, when you have village shops like this...
I know where Im going now and its not Hardy & Drapers...
