Archers Carpets

With 2 months until the big move and the whole house to do, I felt a little overwhelmed, but the salesman was so helpful. He talked me through the extensive range of carpets and flooring, and gave me useful advice. I didn't feel rushed at all, as I made my decisions then changed my mind, then went back to my original decision. He was very patient with me and I left no longer feeling overwhelmed, but in control, confident and in safe hands. When fitting day came, they arrived on time and were so lovely. The professional finished results were beyond my dreams. The carpets look great and the amtico flooring is the envy of my friends. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. Went in to discuss some snagging issues with work completed. The salesman was busy with his phone call discussing the best way to ‘get around company car tax’ and spoke with me after that. I was told that Dave doesn’t make mistakes and it must be the fault of the lad with him. Really disappointed as we’ve had good work done previously by them.

5 out of 5 for the service and the fitting. My house is small and I have large furniture. Due to the size and how heavy it all is the fitters moved it all and worked with it for me. They have fitted it perfectly and they took all the rubbish with them. I am also very grateful that circumstances came where my old boiler needed to be removed they came and uplifted the carpet and refit it without any problems at all. It doesn't even look like it has been refit! I highly recommend them and I will be going back to them to complete the rest of my home.

Can't rate Justin and his team highly enough. After being badly let down by another local firm I got in touch with Archers to discuss re-carpeting my home after it flooded in the February storms. Justin was responsive and understanding and came to measure up within days of first contacting him. There was some issues with supply, but that wasnt their fault (manufacturers closed due to COVID) I ordered the flooring and booked a fitting date for 3 weeks later. I'm thrilled with the final result and highly recommend Archers. Thanks again :)

Excellent experience from start to finish. We were recommended Archers by neighbours and now wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to others. No pressure in the store when we visited - not a huge outlet like some places but plenty to see and smiling friendly staff on hand to answer any questions. Samples can be brought home to try against your decor - staff even carrying these to the car for us.
The stairs carpet was fitted first. Friendly and expert fitters who were very accommodating in working around our times of needing a stairlift removed and refitted on the same day.
We have now just had the hall floor screeded and a hard flooring laid, again a friendly and expert fitter who took his time, paying great attention to detail.

Be aware this company do not deliver on there work, agreed and paid deposit for £3.5k of work 5 weeks in advance, left key access for work to be done whilst on holiday only to be contacted to be told there supplier had let them down, communication very poor and did not really help, now left without flooring, do not use this company.

First class company, excellent service from start to finish

Have used Archers several times over the years. Always helpful and knowledgeable. Had bathroom flooring fitted before Christmas and yesterday Amtico flooring laid in kitchen. Darren the fitter worked very quickly and efficiently and cleared up after himself. He was very pleasant in his manner and even offered to help us move our kitchen furniture back.
