Number 1 Flooring

Brilliant family business. Went in, picked a floor and agreed a fitting date - Sam showed up on the day and bang on time with everything he needed, and worked his socks off for a whole day. Really nice guy, and he did a banging job. Left everything neat and tidy. We couldn't have been happier. Charge for fitting the floor (lounge and corridor) was £180, and as far as I'm concerned worth every penny - probably couldn't even have hired the tools for that. Leave it to the professionals! We'll be back for sure.

From the initial visit to the showroom , down to the measuring and then fitting , these guys are most definitely no 1 . Sam fitted the flooring and he did a brilliant job ! Could not fault him , I am more than pleased with the finished result . There was no mess , everything was explained to me and the result was outstanding .Would 100 per cent recommend this business , in fact there should be a 10 star option , as they are worthy of it !!

We visited the Cardiff store to view their products and had a full discussion with the staff on pros and cons of laminate v. vinyl flooring. Having settled on our choice, we were visited at home for an assessment and measurement, followed by a quote. After accepting quote and confirming order, we arranged a date for fitting.
At every stage, nothing appeared too much trouble. The staff in the store, and fitter who came on the day, were all happy to share their knowledge and advice without exerting any "sales pressure". In fact, we changed our minds on the actual day of fitting regarding requirements and this was accepted without quibble.
We wholeheartedly recommend No. 1 Flooring. Ask for Kris, Neil or Lee.

I used these folks because the clinic I took on used them several years ago to fit engineered oak flooring on all except 1 room. I wanted to get a close match to what was already there. They came out, could tell just by looking which wood type it was and matched it beautifully.
The finish was high standard. The fitter cleaned up after himself (except for a quick vacuum n mop). The price was very fair for supply and fit too!

Staff go above and beyond. My laminate flooring, measured and fitted by the team and they also lifted the old laminate and removed at the same time. Took skirting off and refixed. Fantastic job
