Peaceful spiritual place to sit and contemplate. Great welcoming community.

I was hired to take photos for a Christening ceremony today (23.4.21) and the priest was rude towards me. He lied twice to both me and my client regarding taking photos. We was all very appalled with his behaviour infront of children and adults who were guests of my client. Everyone in the church noticed how rude he was being towards me. He spoke to me like I am a child and belittled us. I was very clear about how this could have been avoided and how his actions were bang out of order. I'm not one to stay quiet, hate to say it but I think me being a woman wearing a hijaab in a church is what made him uncomfortable. He set a bad example for the young children. Not happy at all with his attitude towards welcoming people like myself in the church.

A welcoming, friendly church representing all ages of the Clitheroe community from babies to grandparents. A visit to Sunday mass is recommended. My pictures here, show just a tiny detail of the many stunning stained glass windows & sculptures contained within.
