St Francis Catholic Church, Maidstone

St Francis Church has always been a Special Place for me to pray in peace and Quiet, and even take rest bite from the Outside World.
St Francis is a Catholic Church and open to everyone. In the Daytime out of mass hours, the church is empty for people to go and pray or sit in peace in front of the Altar of Jesus Christ and the Statue of the Virgin Mary.
You can Light Candles and Pray for anything. People on Earth, or Departed Loved Ones, or if you need help yourself if you are having difficulties. I'm not sure, but I think that there is a Mass at (10:00am) weekdays,

wanted to get inside the Church mid day just to spend some time on my own and buy some candles. the doors where locked. no opening times displayed and the man on the phone was a snub and helpless. what is the point having a church in town with to access to it

Great place for worship to reflect to meditate or just rest in the presence of The Almighty in peace quietness and often solitude.. You finit have to-be à Catholic persay to enter God's House. (((Catholic means UNIVERSAL.))). 😘

A very nice Catholic Church in the heart of Maidstone. They have masses in different languages....Polish, Malayalam etc on particular days and time as well. There is a website for the Church which is useful.

Very calm and quiet church in the middle of Maidstone

The social distancing rules were in place. The qr code was in the entrance for track and trace and one row of bench was kept blocked to ensure distancing. I went in after more than a year due to lock down and I felt safe. I am thank full.

Peaceful worship place, even though it is at the town centre, close to the Maidstone east railway station. Çovid restrictions apply.
