I have attended this church since the age of approximately 6/7 years of age, having lived within the parish from the age of 12 months. Our Lady of Lourdes welcomes a wide range of ethnicities from the cradle on, providing the needs of the faith practiced.

Beautiful church on the inside, the high altar is at the southern end, it also has a beautiful statue of Saint Patrick, the best I have seen. It is like an oasis of calm from the busy High Street outside and as a consecrated place is very good to collect ones thoughts. Usually very busy when services are being conducted, especially major Christian feast days like Christmas and Easter.
They also do a lot of good work for people who are homeless and provide meals, clothing and advice, haircuts and many other services.

Visited this church for the first time at the Easter Vigil. Left early. I don't like guitars in church, but can put up with a certain amount usually. This was horrible! Very loud and added to this were other instruments. It was every five minutes. If you're a modernist you will probably like this. If you're in any way a traditionalist you won't. I want Catholic not Pentecostal.

I feel in pace there. The Adoration, the masses, reconciliation helps me a lot in my “journey”.
The priests are very friendly and helpful.

Attended for Mass on All Souls Day. Prior to the morning Mass was exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.
The Church is small and compact.
Despite being on a busy road it is quite quite.
The Church has a nice war Memorial to the Great War listing casualties.
The parish is under the care of the Holy Ghost Fathers, now retitled Spiritans.

This has been my parish for over 25 years and in all that time it has been a great blessing. Wonderful priests, fabulous parishioners and a church in action looking out for the downtrodden, the hungry, the homeless.
