A beautiful Catholic Church. Visited in the afternoon. No Mass or service was in process.
A beautiful quiet place to rest and reflect and if your quiet you can hear the singing of birds outside.
The Church also has a Rood screen over the sanctuary.

Yes a funeral we attended at this church, never been before, as I'm not a church goer, but a lovely church the stained glass windows, unusual pattern over the altar end of the room, acoustics were good you could actually hear the priest talking, all in all a nice visit

First time attending this church today. I was enjoying the service until I was rudely spoken to by a church helper/volunteer as to how I should take Communion. On speaking to a Priest, who appeared outside the church, on my experience he told me that "they have to monitor when persons receive 'the body of Christ' as they find them on the floor" and that "I'm trying to change the rules". The Priest even made mention of 'other churches' practices as not how Catholic churches do things. Tell me what person comes to church, takes Communion (the body of Christ) only then to discard it on the floor? What a poor excuse given by the Priest. I felt unwelcomed. This was the first time I've been able to attend church since the Covid pandemic. If this is the behaviour and attitude of the Catholic Church I'm not surprised why attendance numbers are dropping. God the Father through His Beloved Son Jesus Christ is for ALL who believe. Remember the Pharisees - Matthew 23: 8-23.

Beautiful intimate church. Attending christening. Priest extremely friendly and service explained beforehand, so easy to follow.
