Beautiful Catholic church, not been to mass as of yet.
But the church itself is stunning.

💛🌟 Beautiful church for prayer and worship. Welcoming priests. Why not pause for prayer?

Lovely church, well attended, plenty of parking. Child friendly deacon! Apparently Edward Elgar used to play the organ there.
Tricky to find the car park but once you know it - no problem thereafter. Very welcoming.

This is my favourite solemn place whenever I want to say my prayers. I come over here very often as it is 5 minutes away where I lived.
I loved it . TO GOD BE THE GLORY 🙏🙏

A historic Roman Catholic parish church. It's home to a thriving parish. There are Masses daily (currently at 10am) and Sunday Mass at 8, 10 and 11.30 am. The 11.30am is sung Mass with a choir (who meet on Wednesday evenings to rehearse - contact the Parish office if you'd like to join). Sir Edward Elgar was the organist here for several years, and wrote Ecce Sacerdos for the visit of the Archbishop to St George's. Elgar's father was also organist here. The organ that Elgar and his father played is still in the choir stalls but has been superceded by a newer one built by Nicholson's.
The parish priests here also look after Our Lady Queen of Peace in St John's.
There's a convenient car park which is also available to other visitors to the city subject to a small fee.

A beautiful church and an exceptionally well organised service given the current circumstances. Thank you to all.
