Foreboding, prominent, imposing and unique Grade 2 Listed Gothic building 1833. Designed by it's 1st Father, James Egan. With bricked up window sockets like shut eyes, either side of a mahoosive central arched window with blue cast iron tracery. Could do with a clean to it's brickwork. Although it's possibly supposed to be this dark as there are many black and grey/blue bricks in with the terracotta. Much prefer the rare rotory Bell in it's carpark from Dublin. Cast by M. O'Byrne who patented the rotary mounting between 1887 - 1915. This is possibly a later one as it says M. Byrne who was the son of the other. The chime can be moved to another part of the bell thus elongating it's life. It is a thing of beauty.

Had a great time at Northern Soul night, fantastic records played, and new and old friends were brilliant. The music is very rewarding.
