St Albans is a beautiful Roman Catholic church in Splott, Cardiff. The altar was full of flowers and it looked wonderful. Some of the children from St Albans primary school made their 1st Holy Communion at the 10 o clock Mass on 12 May 2019. Father Scanlon is a very nice priest I have known him for years he used to be at St Peters in Roath, Cardiff. There is a 6pm Mass on Saturday evening and a 10 am on Sundays.

Love St Albans, Cardiff Oratory. Such a beautifully spiritual place. The Oratory community is so caring and compassionate and always at the service of the people of the parish. It's so refreshing to have a such a power house of prayer and devotion, with loving spiritual care on the doorstep. The Oratory community are incredible and work tirelessly to serve us all. They are a credit to the church, the community, the university and to the whole of Cardiff.

The Oratorian Fathers and Brothers are incredible. The priests are so kind, loving and compassionate about all those who come to the church, including the Brothers. The priests are genuine, devout, holy and compassionate men of God who are the Salt of the earth. Wonderful place to come to pray and worship through and in the sacred mysteries. Blessed to have the Òratory on my door step. God bless you Cardiff Oratory Fathers and Brothers.

I was meeting a friend in Cardiff and we decided to take in the Latin High Mass here.

What a beautiful Mass and a wonderful church. We stayed for coffee with the congregation and found the churchgoers to be warm and welcoming, as were the Brothers, who of whom helpfully unlocked the gift cabinet so I could buy a Roman Missal as a gift for my friend—her first TLM Mass.

Would love to return.

Five or six years ago before I retired, I would visit St. Alban's Church most Monday evenings for Mass. To see, what in those days, was a dark slightly dowdy church, so transformed into such a well decorated, bright centre for worship and prayer as it is today, is a source of real joy.

The Church now focus the heart and mind on the Lord and attending Mass here is a clear encounter with the numinous which reminds me that raising one's heart and mind to God in adoration and praise is the heart of the Christian life.

Well done to the Oratory which has so radically reformed this Church into a truly beautiful thing for the Lord.
