DO NOT GO HERE! this school does not care about the students. They expect them to act like robots, doing everything they are told in a way which is impossible. The pshe curriculum is horrible and do not teach things well and accurately, they use outdated videos and inaccurate texts. The math curriculum is also terrible, they rush through things and expect the kids to do all the revision in their homework which kids feel that it is unnecessary because it does not feel like a learning experience to them but more as a thing they have to do to make up for bad teaching. They make unnecessary searches of kids and unnecessary detentions. Me and my child had something planned after school and she got a detention for not having her shirt tucked in after pe. There are definitely some good teachers but most are terrible, reconsider staying/going to this school.

This school treats disabled people badly they don't help you especially in j200 the ladies shout and never give you help. The toilets are vandelized graffiti everywhere. The stupidest reason for detention is 1 minute late it is 20 min. Also you get detention for not signing your diary.During Normal school days they don't give you homework but when it comes to holiday they put lots of stress.some teachers are nice but not all After school you can't go to shops even when you are sick. You can't wait for your friends. They don't give you respect. (No disrespect to the teachers.)

This school is amazing with great facilities, staff and students. I joined the school for sixth form in Year 12 and now it's my final year here. I've thoroughly enjoyed being a sixth former here. The Sixth Form Team are very supportive and treat us like we are their own children. I also feel very respected and safe in this school since the students are well-mannered and value and appreciate me for who I am. I appreciate the strong family environment in the sixth form and am proud I chose Cardinal Wiseman for 6th Form. The school is a prime example of how we should love and support one another, which is deeply rooted in the school's Catholic ethos. Humanity is at the heart of the school and its actions and support towards students, ensuring they are safe and well prepared academically as well as for their future lives. I can honestly say I couldn't have found a better school than this. Definitely recommended. I am really going to miss it. : ) #Class_of_2022_Leavers

Wishing all members of staff, students and faculty well and many thanks for the continuous support and lifelong memories to cherish forever! I will keep you all in my prayers! : )

Great school. Teachers are enthusiastic, supportive and helpful. The community is very friendly and welcoming, creating an excellent environment. The Catholic ethos is noticeable and upheld. Students who are willing to work hard will receive all the help they need to achieve their goals. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this school.

It has mostly good staff and lessons are enjoyable. It is very strict though ( 1 minute late = 20 minute detention, same thing with not signing your planner) but overall i am enjoying it so far

i usually dont post reviews as i am a parent but this school is like prison. terrible treatment of students, at break you can only use 1 toilet which is packed and cannot go during lesson time. my daughter needed to go to the toilet but the teacher did not let her and was humiliated for staining the chair. The treatment for students with disorders and disabilities is even worse, they talk about mental health but rarely support the students when they talk about it. They do not let students express themselves in anyway and they have stupid rules for the colour of girls' bras (being that it cannot be shown through the t shirt, which is merely impossible). they cannot even wait for their friends outside, go to the shops for some food or drink. Rules for lateness is horrendous, near our area it is very hard to get out of in the mornings as there is roadwork and traffic (its near the a40) and she would get a detention for being 1 minute late. the school says 'they will love their students' but all they do is make them develop depression and anxiety (or worse). If you get into trouble instead of educating you they will give you a large pointless workbook and put you in a small room at the back of the school , isolated from the rest as punishment, this is severely detrimental to a childs wellbeing. The exam results might be good but is it worth your childs struggling? reconsider sending your child here, its not what you think it is.

No stars, The school highly discriminates people with special needs and those that are highly vulnerable. I am talking from past bad experiences here. I would strongly not recommended you send your child here. The school does not care or treat those people with high respect. They lie about equal treatment to those with Special needs. It's a bad school that lies to those to lure them in. They keep them caged up like an animal in a room and do not let them out for a long period of time. They neglect them badly and have strong bad intentions. I am talking from my own bad experience here as a vunerable person with a disability. It's a bad school for people who have special needs. The staff are highly undertrained and treat them badly.
