Chestnut Cattery

A lovely cattery! The new owner, Claire, is wonderful and very accommodating and has taken really good care of our two cats. They've come home very happy, even our shy one who struggles with new people was relaxed and happy there. They even had a cat friendly Christmas dinner!

I am really very fussy about where I would leave my precious cat and did lose some faith in cattery's to the point where I wouldn't board him for many years. Since Claire has taken ownership of Chestnut cattery I now go away with peace of mind and no fear of leaving him.

Claire has made amazing changes to this cattery and she is so caring and loving to the cats that board with her. The fact that she lives on site is another massive tick too.

I can't recommend this cattery highly enough and would not even consider leaving my boy anywhere else. I'm so amazed how happy and relaxed he is when I collect him. It's a stark contrast to when I've collected him in the past in a distressed state. Thank you Chestnut cattery for all of the passion you put into looking after the cats and for all of the investments you've made for making it a brilliant cattery :)

I have been leaving my cat at Chestnut Cattery for some years and in fact, collected Like Tom just this morning. Claire who runs the cattery could not be more caring, my cat is well fed and the cattery is spotlessly clean. I cannot speak highly enough of Claire and Chestnut Cattery as I know that he is always well looked after and made a fuss of. Thank you Claire.

Romeo is a new cat for us and it was the first time in a cattery. Not knowing what to expect, but Romeo seemed very happy. Nice accomodation. Would use again.

Excellent place to board your cats. Beautiful clean pens. Claire the owner is a lovely, caring lady. I was a bit anxious leaving our Daphne, but Claire reassured us by sending messages and photos of her while we were on holiday. Daphne came home a very happy and content puss. 5 star rating.

So so pleased we found Chestnut Cattery! Claire and her husband are absolutely fantastic and work tirelessly to offer an exceptional service for their feline visitors! we found Chestnut by chance when our usual cattery was fully booked - usually there wouldn't have been availability but we called just as they were building a new block in time for Christmas. We went to look around and were blown away at just how much care and attention was given to the cattery. The pens are lovely and airy yet warm and cosy too. Claire is a true 'cat lady' and texts regularly to keep our minds at rest while we are away. More than what we'd hoped for and have already booked all our 2019 getaways with Chestnut. If you want your cats to be well looked after in clean, caring surroundings, this is definitely the right place.
