Harvesters Farm Kennels

We visited the kennels before we booked our Belgian Shepherd in for a stay. We found them spotlessly clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly. Our dog is very nervous and unpredictable and does not allow strangers to touch her, so we cannot leave her with friends, neighbours or the wider family. However, she trusts the staff at Harvesters Farm so much that she allows them to groom and bath her. She always comes back to us fit and healthy. We go on holiday confident that she is being well cared for.

I greatly regret leaving my dog here. Staff and management were incredibly rude and picking up my downbeat dog was simply heartbreaking. Firstly there was an uncomfortable encounter in organising a pick up time. Providing less than helpful hours and zero flexibility in this. Secondly, my dog was a state coming own. Including a trip (added £££) to the vet for conjunctivitis despite an "on-site vet". My gorgeous, joyful boy looked traumatised and a shell of the dog I'd left behind. He had tear stains in his fur due to untreated conjunctivitis. He had cuts on his nose from what I can assume was another dog. He had clearly not been brushed or cleaned once in two weeks. His fur was matted and stained. Requiring a professional groomer visit to try and fix. Finally and most importantly was the depressed demeanor of my dog. I have since read in reviews that the kennels have a 'no bark' policy and I fear, as a rather vocal dog (by breed!), he may have been unfairly shouted at or disciplined by staff.

I would urge you to look around. This was my first experience and it's put me off Kennels all together!!

I highly recommend these kennels - have been using them for over 20 years now and have never had any issues. Kennels are run efficiently and our dogs have always been cared for exceptionally well. They come back happy and healthy. Dogs have a wonderful area to exercise in. Kennels are always clean and safe. They also have a heater for the colder weather conditions.

Just collected my dog from Harvesters 1st time laft for 10 days,she came back so happy think she would have liked to stay, as a Romanian rescue who can be unpredictable sometimes we are delighted with how well she was cared for.would highly recommend .

We picked up our 1 year old Rottweiler today after 9 days and it’s safe to say she had so much fun here. It was her first time staying in kennels and the staff really helped ease her in and settle her into a good routine. I even received some videos and a brief update when I asked half way through my holiday how she was getting on (because I couldn’t resist but to ask). This kennels will always be our first port of call and we couldn’t recommend them enough!

Excellent! Albert kept them on their toes but loved playing with other dogs in the field. This kennels allows dogs out for exercise & fun.

We left our cockapoo Harley there for 4 days between xmas and new year and couldn't be happier he must have enjoyed it. X

Our dogs have stayed for 3 weeks over Christmas, the kennel is the best we have ever used, clean, friendly and effortlessly professional our dogs don't seem to want to leave when we go to pick them up. I cannot recommend highly enough.
