Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel Romford

Lovely place, Sam is brilliant. One of my cats was previously traumatized at a cattery, so I was really worried about leaving him again - no such problem this time. In fact I think he would have quite happily stayed with Sam. Would not think about going anywhere else in future.

My cat has stayed with Sam at Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel in Romford a few times now. The accommodation and the overall service is always superb. My cat is an outdoors cat but the space and play area she has in her room is perfect. She's always come home completely relaxed and happy! Sam is always so helpful and kind, and it is clear that she loves cats! Sam sends through regular updates with pictures over email which are always great to receive. Would highly recommend!

Longcroft doesn't look like the stereotypical cattery. It's bright, cheery & has a lovely homely feel. There's no unpleasant smells, it's immaculately clean and calm. Sam the owner has a lovely manner, very gentle and I immediately liked her. She's really caring towards the cats and emailed us twice during our week away, which was so reassuring. Our eldest cat is 20, and Sam very wisely contacted our vet for advice when he was not eating and wouldn't take his medication, which was just the right thing to do. I cannot praise her enough. We are definitely going to use Longcroft again.

Sam was wonderful with Fluff. She looked after her excellently despite Fluff being anxious and reluctant to eat on her first time away from home. Our cat was returned to us happy and calm, having clearly had a comfortable stay. Sam sent us email updates every other day and I could not recommend Longcroft highly enough as a place for your cat to holiday whilst you're away too!

A 5 star experience from start to finish. My cat stayed at Longcroft Romford for 10 days and will certainly be returning when I’m next on holiday. The owner, Sam, is brilliant and obviously very passionate about her business. She went to great lengths to make sure that my cat settled in, spending time with us on arrival, playing with him during his stay, ensuring that he had the same food as at home, and keeping me updated with photos throughout my cat’s stay. It is a fantastic place and I would recommend it without hesitation to any other cat owner.

Longcroft Cat Hotel in Romford is a beautiful, spotlessly clean, cattery. Our cat, Oliver, has stayed with Sam Scott three times and each time he has settled in extremely quickly. Oliver needs company, he likes a lot of attention and cuddles, which we know he gets when he stays here.

When Oliver stayed at other catteries, he seemed desperate to come home and as he heard us approaching to collect him, he would rush to the door meowing.

We know Oliver has enjoyed his stay with Sam at Longcroft Cat Hotel, as when we arrive to collect him, he doesn’t rush to the door but remains lying on his bed and goes all “heavy“ when we try to pick him up. It’s as though he does not want to come home!

We had read similar reviews prior to his first visit and didn’t believe that our Oliver would not want to come home (as he loves his home and garden) but Sam obviously makes his stay so enjoyable he would be quite happy to extend it!

Sam sends us regular email updates with photos of Oliver looking happy and relaxed. This is lovely, as we do miss Oliver when we’re away.

All this gives us great peace of mind when we go away, as we know our precious “furry boy” is happy with Sam and well looked after.

Our cat has just had a week’s stay at Longcroft. I would highly recommend. Sam was warm and friendly, which gave us great confidence in leaving our cat. The “hotel” was lovely and our cat was relaxed and happy after her stay. Thanks Sam!

We picked Luna (11 year old British Short Hair) up from her 2 weeks stay yesterday. It didn’t take her long to settle in back at home which is great to see and must mean she was super relaxed during her stay. Sam is lovely and makes sure that the cats are looked after very well. She also sends regular updates and photos on which you can see how at ease Luna looked after the initial 1-2 days at the beginning. After the stay we even got a little bag with goodies, a bag of Dreamies and 3 toys for Luna which she loves! I would definitely do exactly the same during our next holiday, it’s nice when you don’t have to worry at all. The drop off and pick up was also easy to arrange and I had a quick look at the place beforehand - lovely space for the cats with a big climber too :) Thank you!

Luna went back for a second visit at the end of August and can only reconfirm what my review about her previous visit says. Luna was in no rush to leave when I picked her up actually... thanks again for looking after her so well.
