My cat Daisy spent 2weeks here recently and came home looking very well and happy . I went on holiday with no worries , the cattery is lovely, immaculate and the pens are spacious ,heated and more importantly they can see outside and also see their cat neighbours . I will be using Almora again most definitely . Many thanks to Katy and Phil for their care and attention of Daisy .

Beautiful place with the most caring owners. We leave our two cats knowing they will be extremely well looked after. When we collect them they are always groomed, settled and happy. It's great to have somewhere we can trust so we can enjoy our time away. Couldn't recommend them enough :)

Almora Cattery is a fabulous cattery which I have used for over 15 years now. I have no hesitation in recommending them and Kate who runs the cattery clearly loves what she does and the cats adore her. The luxury pens are always extremely clean and you can see they are very well maintained and looked after. I know my cat is perfectly happy and looked after when staying here.

We love taking our cat's to Almora and chatting to Phil and Katie when we are there. They area lovely couple who care deeply about their cattery, it's residents and their owners too! We can't recommend this cattery enough. The pens are spacious and the cats are well looked after. Our cats never want to leave to go back home. That says something about the care they receive. Almora is a quiet, well maintained Cattery with modified outdoor heated sheds. Each one has an indoor and outdoor component joined by a human door which is kept shut, and a cat flap to allow the resident to move between the two. On the indoor portion there is a shelf, a warmed bed, and food bowls. On the outside, a yard to stretch your legs and a shelf to sit and watch the world go by, or chat with other cats. The whole thing is guarded by well maintained chicken wire with a bolted human airlock to the outside world. The owners are attentive and caring, the prices reasonable and our cat appears to be quite annoyed to be home. We regularly take weekends away in the summer as well as our main summer holiday and will not take her anywhere else during these trips now.

The facilities are excellent. Katy and Phil are very caring and professional. Our cat Millie was so relaxed when we collected her, we will have no hesitation in bringing her here again.

1st time we have used Almora for our cats Alicia & Daisy, they’re not used to catteries and we were worried how Daisy in particular would react, but on arrival to Almora which is in a beautiful setting with ample land and well-kept large pens , we were reassured by Phil (who is clearly very knowledgeable about cat behaviour that they would be fine). We got a postcard update with pics from Phil & Katy letting us know that both cats were doing fine. And on collection, we received a comprehensive welfare daily report. We will definitely be using Phil and Katy again at Almora.
