The Grove Cattery

Best cattery in the area. They have more room in the cat run than any other catteries nearby, and the family that run it are lovely. This is also the only cattery where our cats have genuinely looked relaxed when we come to collect them. This is always our first choice!

Treated my Maui like an absolute prince during his stay here. Maui is known for being very anxious and gets stressed easily but Marilyn and Chris got him settled so quickly and were so accommodating for both Maui and me (a very worried owner!) - Marilyn was happy to keep me updated on how he's doing and they let me visit him and each time he seemed happier and happier!

100% recommend this cattery, it is in a very quiet and calm environment, the underfloor heating makes the bedding area lovely and warm (which Maui loved!)

I was so worried about leaving him at first but after visiting him and seeing how well he'd settled and how well he was being looked after, it was like he was at a home from home. Would not take him anywhere else :)

We're so grateful for Marilyn and Chris being able to look after our Tilly at short notice, and so pleased with the amazing care she received.

Tilly's a rescue cat who had a bit of a difficult life, which can make her uneasy in new places, but Marilyn and Chris took great care of her, respected her wishes for space, and made she sure was eating properly and relaxed. We've just got her home and she's bouncing around as though she was never away, a sure sign that she's been given the best of care!

Thank you Marilyn and Chris for being incredibly accommodating with my time/date schedule. Thank you for giving Fernie such a warm welcome, I have never known her to be so relaxed in a new environment. She didn't want to leave. Fernie will definitely be looking to stay with you again. Absolutely fantastic speaker for cats to stay!! Our cat Rudy stayed there and although a shy cat, he would have been happy to stay even longer for sure. Marilyn and Chris are superb owners and adore animals. One remarkable thing is how clean the cattery is, they are meticulous when it comes to cleaning and also fresh food/water/litter for the cat. Would highly recommend to everyone.

We have been using Grove Cattery for numerous years for our three cats, and we could not recommend a better cattery. Nothing is ever a problem or too much trouble, and the care and love the cats receive whilst staying there is outstanding. The cleanliness of the cattery is also impeccable and the facilities for the cats are brilliant, a real home from home for them.

Our cat Georgie stayed at grove cattery a year ago now (bit late for the review, sorry!) This was the first time we had left Georgie and we where very nervous but we where put at ease from the first contact of email. We where accomidated very quickly and last minute. The cattery itself is very clean and clearly looked after very well, Georgie was looked after so well and we received updates and photos and this put us at ease. There was nothing to worry about I dont think he really wanted to come home he enjoyed his stay and we will totally use again. Thank you for looking after our boy.
