JJ's Boarding Cattery

Marvellous cattery , the one and only place to leave your beloved cat, Winston our Maine Coon always enjoys being here , the staff are wonderful. I would not take him anywhere else.

I was let down at short notice by a cattery that I had only used once. It was a busy time of year and I was really concerned that I wouldn’t be able to find anywhere to board Sweetie for three nights. However, Ian came to the rescue and when I met him, I was instantly put at ease by his friendly manner. He clearly loves cats and Sweetie, who is a nervous rescue cat, instantly took to him. I felt very relieved leaving her in his care and was surprised to see how relaxed she was when I went to pick her up. I will be changing to JJ’s for my future holidays as I know Sweetie will be well cared for. Highly recommend.

Been using for a while. Cats have the opportunity to go out into a wire mesh covered run with tree trunks for climbing. Our cat likes being outside so feel happier him being here than one of these "luxury" places where he would be cooped up inside all the time.

We have used JJ's for years as a "holiday home" for Jake. Service and care always excellent. He and all his fellow guests always seem content and unstressed when we go round having a little chat with them! Can't recommend JJ's highly enough.

My cat has been coming here for years. The previous owners were decent. When Ian took over a couple of years ago, I was a little nervous, but he has been absolutely exceptional. What was a good cattery has become really excellent. Ian and the team are so friendly and down to earth, nothing is too much trouble, and the cats are all clearly loved and cared for brilliantly. My Fergus loves coming to stay and is very relaxed and comfortable here. I trust them completely.

Just collected Milo from here and he's had monk on for hours didn't want to leave uncle Ian he takes great care of the cats and treats them like his own see you again soon many thanks again

I was really stressed about putting our 3 cats into a cattery, but Ian at JJ's put my mind at ease almost immediately. It's clear that the cats are very much cared for at JJ's, and time is spent getting to know them and paying them attention individually. They had plenty of room (including access to an outdoor space) at all times, which was great. My cats have come home this afternoon and are all looking healthy, happy and behaving as if they never left, which probably says the most about their experience - I will definitely use JJ's again in the future, they really care well for the cats!
