Disappointed, traded in items, left over 24 hours and still not ready made to come back 1hour later and still not ready had to wait in store. Lady being served next to us has purchasing multiple high value items and manager was more interested in keeping her happy than other customers within the store. Quick reminder to manager without people trading you can't sell .... basic business and over the years we have always chosen this store over game or amazon too purchase, so customer a little disappointed by the wait and attitude.

The girls on tills had a Brilliant attitude and can't fault them. Its my understanding its a franchise and possible under new management as never had this issue before in store and will not return will use derby store or on line . When compared store prices on what I intend to purchase next week its 20 more expensive than cex on line price. Disappointed as always thought what a good store and good prices but todays trip has put me off

Its OK if you want to buy something for cheaper than buying new but wouldn't recommend trade ins. They always seem to grade your item as less than it is. If its in good condition they will say satisfactory, they do it for the profit. Not a fair trade at all. Sell your things privately I would say.

Dropped items off to trade in almost a week ago and was told it would be within 1 working day. Each day since then they’ve told me it would be the end of the day and then proceeded to blame my bank and then when they realised how ridiculous that was they said it was an “international banking issue” and again said to wait until the end of the day which again it never happened. Think they’re just using big words to hide the fact they’re talking nonsense. Also really unprofessional that you can’t speak to any customer service on the phone so you have to use Facebook and they reply back with a message once every 24 hours

You can check their stock online too .make sure you know if it’s in stock before visiting to safe yourself time and efforts. I also recommend trade in against vouchers if you are thinking to buy anytime from their product range.

The vouchers are valid for 1000 years (yes you read it right) it’s just a number they tell you it’s basically valid for life.

Do keep your vouchers safely so that you don’t loose them. I really believe it’s a great way to sell your unwanted electronics for something you wish for can be a new game for your Playstation or computer upgrade you were planing to get.

All of their product comes with 2 years warranty so you can buy with peace of mind.

It's asked me to update my review and, um, after last time I've started working here. So... five stars? The fat, old assistant Daniel is a top bloke, too... if a little weird. Modest, though.

Look, in the past I gave it 5 stars anyway. I wouldn't have applied to work there in the first place if it was somewhere I didn't like. So those should still stand - they were given honestly, without bias at the time. As CeX's go, this has always been one of the better ones (bias: they are all good, of course).

You know what you're getting from one, a dedicated pricing team setting realistic prices based on supply and demand. That's from the Facebook so isn't a secret. As such, prices go up and down and you can get some serious bargains if you shop correctly (bias: which is at any time).

So, go shop there. Ask for Daniel if you want. I won't give you anything though. But hey, it'd be fun.

(Edited out: what a nice chap the manager is. That'd be too close to a*se licking if I left it in. But he is, and as I said in the old review he's a credit to the store. But I won't say that now. Ahem.)
