Excellent experience here. Upgraded TV at home so had one "to go"; contacted CeX via website to get an idea of value (as model not ordinarily listed), and the online support was top notch. On visiting the Barry shop, they couldn't have been more helpful and the transaction was trouble free. Will happily use again for passing on my unwanted tech, and will probably find myself browsing the windows for gadgetry...

Great place to sell stollen goods. But I wouldn't recommend buying from here as the goods come with missing essential items such as cables. Only to be told ah well you have lost your £100 and there's nothing we or you can do about it. Thanks cex

Have bought a couple of things from here, never any problems. Exchange prices not overly generous though !!

Sadly service at this shop has gone down dramatically.
Refused to honour valuation employee had given.
Took samsung tablet to trade in. A few years old but condition as new. In original box. Headphone charger instruction leaflet and case.
Girl looked up system and offered £47. But couldnt pay me until tested and they were Too busy to do it while I waited so I would have to leave overnight. Went back day or so later. Value now £19 and they had lost charger! ! Said the girl had put wrong model number in system. Also left samsung phone in box to be tested.
It seems the battrey had

Will never use shop again and suggest you do not leave anything with them.

Bought a preowned console here a week ago. The controller wasn’t holding its charge. Returned it. The chaps working there couldn’t be more helpful. Tested it for me. Replaced the controller and the cable for me. Good customer service and friendly staff.

Worst service ever. Brought an item that was broken, should never have been available to buy when I returned it they offered me store credit. I asked to speak to the store manager and he was so rude. Didn’t even turn around when the conversation started then proceeded to shout at me over the counter. Claimed that it’s their policy when the consumer rights act says other wise. It a person that should be in a B2C business. Has not respect for the consumer and made me waste my entire afternoon going back and fourth the store for no reason at all. Make a fuss over something so petty to just issue the refund in the end. Again worse service ever. I will never be shopping in any of the stores again after that display of attempted robbery. Would give muni stars if I could.

I got a phone from them and the camera was broken so took it back and added more money to get a different phone and the charging port is dodgy on it. Just want win, maybe the tester needs to slow down and check things a bit better. However I will say the staff are nice and helpful and good service just poor products
