Colne Cemetery

Wallace Hartley, band leader on the Titanic interred here. Go through the stone building at the entrance and the grave is on the left hand path going down the hill.

A cemetery on a hill and it's quite large too.
I guess most visitors come here to look at the marvellous grave of Wallace Hartley, the leader of the band on the Titanic who tied himself to his musical instrument case when he realised he'd not survive the disaster and whose body was this found two weeks later and returned to his home town.
