Beautiful, huge cemetery. Very well kept and maintained with lots of walking paths throughout, definitely worth a visit.

Located on the A3 in between Roehampton and Roehampton Vale. 85 and 265 pass here in both directions and a large ASDA supermarket located adjacent to the cemetery, this cemetery hosts many celebrities such as the famous Howard Carter the founder of artifacts in Egypt

The best thing and probably one of the most important things is the people that work there. Every single person I encountered there was so lovely and kind to me, it made a very difficult time much easier. Thank you !

If the cemetery is closing early, please put this on the website. Stating that hours might differ isn’t helpful. Christmas Day showed as open 10-5 so imagine how upsetting it was to find a notice on the gate saying it was closing at 1pm. The queue of visitors outside, who were turned away, were large in numbers so no doubt they thought the hours advertised on the website were applicable. It’s a shame as this is a good cemetery but let itself down on this occasion.

The lowest i can give is 1 star, I cannot believe that whilst a friend was reading my deceased friends eulogy that a member of staff asked him to hurry up, the service was being streamed and during the live stream you can hear said old man muttering and being disrespectful. I left the Chapel to pick up a flower to put on my friends coffin and wasn't let back in, there wasn't a service after, they just wanted to close. Absolutely disgusting.

My husbands ashes were scattered in the once beautiful Garden of Remembrance. Over the past few months, however, the Garden has been woefully neglected. The area under the Willow tree is barren and strewn with weeds and dead floral tributes. There are no plants on the memorial planters. All in all it is now a sad and depressing place to visit.

Spoke to a staff member there today. He was so polite and helpful. I just thought I would say something positive and show my appreciation for his assistance. I believe he said his name was 'Barry'. Customer service 5 gold stars.

I have many family members in putney vale, it is a lovely beautiful place and well maintained, but on recent visits i have noticed its become a car park for dog walkers who see the crematorium as a free car park. I do not think its fair when you got to pay your respects to family members only to find its a car park for people who use the common.
