This cemetery is a disgrace to the town. I went to take flowers to my mothers grave on Friday 12th July and it was impossible to get near her grave it was so overgrown my husband had to go and get a strimmer and it took 20 minutes strimming before I could get near it. I’m sure there is provision in what we pay in our council tax for maintenance of this cemetery. Parts of this. Cemetery you. can see where grass hAs been cut but I think 90% hasn’t. Also why are there not any no parking notices up along that stretch of lane. It is impossible to park and in some places where people double park and it’s difficult to pass.

Framed by the golf course, impressive war memorial gardens and woodland with access, this mature cemetery is set on a hill overlooking the excellent shopping centre. Some areas are marked as conservation, therefore not mown. Grave wording include proclamations that 'God's finger touched him and he fell asleep'. Very peaceful to stroll through
