East Finchley Cemetery

As always these days, the cemetery is looking really well kept. At the gate the closing time today (Sunday 6 March) says 5pm, but the website says 6pm. Perhaps these times could be unified? Thanks.

Just came back from this place I pay my respects at my mum and dads plot. Then put flowers in the memoradum stone flower vase in the rectangle like generations of people do. But not today all the vases have been removed. I went to office to say there's been a theft but no they've all been removed as the powers that be don't want them there anymore..my parents vase was in a back room and returned to me. Don't know why but a sanctimonious cow said Ive worked here 10 years...so what I was livid and let her know. These staff have no right to touch anything of mine or my parents!!!! A groundsman said to my husband he'd worked here over 35 years it's not the same it's got new management this last 5 years and they don't like them as there cold idiots who don't care about grieving relatives.no worker is happy there anymore. I got that impression in the office..They must realise don't mess with us relatives or the memories of the loved ones. I haven't stopped crying...but what do they csre

Personally I have always found the staff very helpful and courteous especially when finding a long lost relatives resting place or any concern about a graves condition. Its a big place and needs a lot of management so there will be some problems but the fact you can go to the office and ring a bell and someone will listen, is quite rare these days. On the whole I am content my parents resting place is treated with respect and dignity we would all hope to receive.

Best cemetery here in all of London. All my family are here. Its always well kept and maintained and the staff are all very nice and helpful too. I've made my funeral plan and instructed that this is where I wish to be laid to rest, a very calm, pleasant and peaceful place.

I attended many funerals and this place respects and do multicultural service and funerals. It's sad but part of life and I found peaceful moment to think about a loved one who I will miss. This place is best to have a last service to say RIP and god bless you to a loved one

If you are visiting here, phone before coming. I’ve just driven from Nottinghamshire to visit my parents, thinking the cemetery opened at 8.30am (according to the website) only to be told that they aren’t open until 10am, really disappointed that the info given is incorrect
