Interesting, and beautiful. Quiet and peaceful. One of the most interesting thing is, it has a little map for the famous people WHO lie here. One of these persons, is a Hungarian director Lajos Bíró, and his family.

Please can you tell me why Hampstead Cemetery is closed to cars? I went up there specifically to tend to my parents grave & it seems only open to joggers & dog walkers! A couple of weeks ago it was fine. Why is that?

Perfect place for a peaceful and quiet walk. Also, if you are not familiar with the Christian Cemeteries it's an amazing experience to explore this place. Some tombstones are very interesting and fascinating.

The great hidden gem of North London..Just so magical and tranquil..A huge cemetery with many paths and benches to rest awhile..Sadly Camden and Islington councils neglete the graves until they are beyond repair.A gorgeous place to visit..No burial map online,just a tiny rudimentary drawing at the entrance.Difficult to locate famous burials
