It is a massive cemetery. There appears to be no clear sign where the chapel is. People tend to wander around aimlessly looking for it. Sone graves are well maintained, others have been neglected. You can park inside, however, the roads are narrow.

Beautiful graveyard and chapel. Plenty of parking along the road leading to the chapel. Seems a fitting place to say goodbye to loved ones.

The overall standard of care have really gone south since Maurice the old manager retired. The toilets are a disgrace always flooded broken seat in one no seat in the other. The general upkeep leaves a lot to be desired. With groundsmen driving over graves.Or when digging a new grave often leaving the earth removed on another grave.

Bought plot for my father 30 years ago for I think about £2000. While I like the cemetery, it's upkeep leaves a lot to be desired. Grave diggers dug grave too small so my dad's coffin was upended. My family wanted to lynch the diggers. Maybe find better spot if u want to Bury Yr loved ones?

Unfortunatly the grass was over a meter high and i couldnt reach the grave to place flowers. The stones near the chapel on the floor are broken due to cars driving over them, some stones contain ashes and barnet council have done nothing to rectify it despite complaints. Was a nice cemetary but slowly going downhill due to lack of caqpe and maintenance.

lovely place to visit and gives an opportunity to walk in relative peace and quiet.

Arrived to collect a loved ones cremated remains. The door of the office was open so I entered. I was sent back outside and made to feel like a naughty school boy as the crematorium is ‘closed’ due to the pandemic, despite all restrictions being lifted on 19th July 2021. The door was then opened a crack whilst someone asked me what I wanted. I was then left standing outside for nearly 20 minutes before a much more friendlier member of staff appeared with the remains. Compassion? No. None here I’m afraid on a first impression. There are much nicer crematoria in the area with much friendlier staff.

Disappointing and upsetting

We visited, twice, the cemetery in the last week. Most of the gravestones were invisible as the vegetation around them hasn't been cut for a while. The bins were full and no one, seems, to empty them. There was a feeling of neglect and carelessness. Our visits were painful as it felt as there was no respect for the dead and the relatives who came to reflect and connect. The back gate has been locked as well which is inconvenient and dangerous. A large place needs two exits.
Exceedingly disappointing.
