Welwyn Hatfield Lawn Cemetery

Lovely cemetery until a week ago when everyone has been told to remove memorial gardens from the front of the grave stone slabs. How undignified and insensitive of the council higherraqire. I really would like to hear from people who would like to sign a petition opposing this insensitive act by the new councillor who is responsible for this cemetery.
Thankyou and let's fight for our loved ones and respect their resting place as best we can.

Their trying to turn this into some kind of military cemetery..... Just to save money on the upkeep... It can't work... People have paid for the plots ...they don't want people walking over their loved ones with lawnmowers ... People have no choice but to use this cemetery... All the other local ones are full

A beautiful well kept peaceful place when visiting a loved one. Groundsmen are very respectful and nothing is too much trouble.

Beautiful cemetery but there is no reason that the toilet is not open, after a 2 hour drive to visit my father on his 10th anniversary, the toilet remains closed due to Covid-19. Why can't the toilet be re-opened or at least a porto cabin put in place for emergency needs?
