Willow Haven Pet crematorium and cemetery

Everyone treated our precious Dachshund Hekta .With such dignity and respect making our grief a little easier..we went back the following day to see him in the chapel of rest and say a final goodbye and we too were treated kindly and respectfully. .wonderful people.

It has been really sad saying goodbye to our kitty and it’s didn’t help that when we left her at the vet to be taken to willow haven we had no contact what so ever. I called with no answer. Then emailed with no answer. Called again and got an answer and all the lady said was “oh yeah sorry I deleted that email by mistake “
We finally got her back yesterday but since the lack of contact it makes me wonder if that is actually my kitty’s ashes as we have no idea of the process etc..
I think especially with the cost you guys need to be in touch with the pet owners and communicate a lot better. Give us more information On what is happening with our pet. Not just say that you deal only with the vet. (As the vet had no idea what was going on)
I’m sure you guys are great but you really need to improve on communication and deal with the pet owner as we are the ones paying you to do a service.

Excellent service all round from willow Haven staff, from phoning, dropping our loyal friend Jet off and to picking up his ashes. They are truly caring pet lovers who understand what you are going through.. The hurt and loss is like no other.. When we picked Jet up i was going to pay but Maureen said
Don't think about that at the moment take Jet home where he belongs and they would send a bill in a few weeks..

We had a wonderful experience despite such a devastating loss. My partner and I lost our nearly 3 year old rat, Flitwick, early yesterday morning. His ashes are back home with us today already. Tom was very kind as I stood there awkwardly trying not to cry, making my fiance do most of the talking. He went above and beyond for us with our special requests, ones that Flitwick would have most certainly demanded in his dramatic (and a wee bit greedy) cheeky fashion.

Thank you for taking such good care of him for us, Tom. And thank you Willow Haven for being there to care for us and Flitwick during our time of grief.

Today i took my beautiful Whippet "Jazz" to Willow Haven where i was met by a lovely lady. She showed me to a lovely little peaceful room where i said my goodbyes and my Jazz was laid out on a beautiful platform. Im so glad my lovely little Jazz came to Willow, they are so caring and loving staff . Thankyou so much and may Jazz rest in peace x

I needed a pet cremation service for my beloved dog and this place was less than 1/2 hour from my vet after we had our dog euthanised. It had a lovely professional website with lots of ‘words’ of how well they care for animals and lots of photos of nice trees! On enquiring by email, I received an uncaring and impersonal quote from ‘Maureen’ just telling me how much it would cost, no words of compassion or caring, just the price. This just added to our heartbreak at such a sad time.

It is such a heartbreaking experience organising a cremation (for any loved one) and I didn’t trust Willow Haven to treat my pet with the love and respect we had shown her and her given us in return for the last 14 years. I therefore chose to use another service which entailed a 1 1/2 hour drive to Newbury, as they showed care and compassion as well as the reassurance that they would treat my beloved family member with the care and respect she deserved as we said our farewells.

Thank you for the kindness you showed us and the time you allowed for my girls and I to sweetly lay our gentle Fugazi to rest. The beauty of his resting place brought us all a great sense of peace. Thank you.
