A peaceful, light and beautiful crematorium, your music is electronically played and acoustically perfect. The grounds are well kept and maintained. My only negative is that after our service the service prior were still outside and had not moved on for us to lay our flowers. (the group were just chatting and laughing which was for us after our tearful service not respectful to the time or place and the crematorium director should of moved them on or spoken to them to be a little more respectful to others)

A beautiful setting for a crematorium. The gardens are lovely and the building itself gives a sense of calmness inside.

The grounds are sadly not always kept nice as on many occasions the grass is very overgrown. Also a beautiful tree was cut down without notification or consultation to families causing emense emotional distress. Our loved ones certainly deserve better and a complaint has been raised.

Sadly, a disrespectful (if deliberate) or incompetent (if accidental) send-off for my dear uncle. We had been left waiting by the previous people but fully understood and did not moan or complain at all. Then it was our turn. We quickly moved into the chapel and the service was both moving and upbeat until the vicar announced the last hymn. Some VERY disrespectful commotion from the back of the chapel and a rather shocked vicar told us she had just been told we had to cut the last hymn. Looking at my watch, I observed we were at this time not overrunning from our enforced late start. We accepted the loss of the hymn but then the vicar moved to the dedication and blessing and we were then deafened by very loud music playing over the vicar's attempts to speak. If this was a deliberate attempt to move us out, it was appallingly insensitive and disrespectful. If it was a genuine mistake, then it was pretty incompetent of the operator to mess up the ending to what was supposed to be a solemn and moving part of the service. Sadly, I would certainly not recommend this crematorium to families looking for an appropriate occasion to mark the life of a loved one.

Service was conducted well, nice large waiting room, all very professional and respectful, except for the music we requested. It was played unreasonably loud. We all leapt out of our seats when it started. No-one seemed to have the common sense to turn it down. It was more like a rock concert, certainly not played at an appropriate volume for a funeral. Not sure who was operating the music, but it spoiled it for me. The acoustics are very good in that hall. It didn’t need to be so loud.

The service was conducted in a beautiful Chapel with much better acoustics than some. I think it a lovely idea having an on site florist and a coffee shop should be opening later in 2021.

2 years on from my previous review, and the baby garden is ruined again by careless gardeners,
Pots and belongings overturned, broken and incorrectly placed, work undertaken with no care whatsoever, very distressing and upsetting to see such a state.

Striking architecture. Spacious public rooms. Nice cloistered garden for outdoor public space.
