Glyntaff Crematorium

Glyntaff Crematorium was opened in 1924, the sixteenth to open in Great Britain, but, for almost thirty years, the only crematorium serving the whole of Wales.
There are two chapels, both of traditional design, and these, together with the beauty of the gardens, add to the dignity and peacefulness of the crematorium.

It a public place where you put rest the departed loved ones.

This is a well kept cemetery and in my opinion is the best in Rhondda Cynon Taff. Easily located just off of the A470. The gardens in the summer are peaceful and tranquil and full of colour, just what you need to collect your thoughts in times of grief.

Your Grounds are kept so well. Makes it so relaxing to see loved ones.

How come every time we come down to put flowers in the columbarium it is always locked. It’s Mothering Sunday why hasn’t the caretakers opened it up! One of the most important days. I’ve even rang in the week to check to make sure the doors will be open which they always say will be but never the case.

The grounds are kept in very good condition

I wanted to visit my father's resting place , but couldn't find where he was.
The lady in the office not only found out where he was but came and searched with me until we found it.
Glyntaff is so clean and peaceful. It was made a wonderful experience and I am so grateful .
