Trane Cemetery

Not happy drove up from newport got there 15.50 Saturday 17/12/16 to put flowers on my sons grave to find it all locked up

This cemetery is one of the best kept cemeterys I know. The grass is always kept lovely, the bins are regularly emptied. The grounds men are friendly and helpful.
It's not a nice experience having to go to my dad's grave but my dad would be so pleased,if he could see the area that he is in, the view is fantastic and the surroundings are kept immaculate.
Well done to all of the workers at Tonyrefail cemetery. You do it proud!!!

After checking online that the cemetery would be open on the day before Good Friday, I spent a considerable amount of money on flowers. When I turned up at 3.25 the main gates were closed, even though vehicle access is allowed until 4pm from March until September. I wasn’t too bothered, as the side gate should have been open, supposedly until 7pm. However, that was locked as well.
I had been informed by friends that Trealaw cemetery had been open the previous day, so I had no reason to think Trane would be closed. There was no notice on the main gate informing the public of a change of opening times due to current circumstances, so what was the reason for this.
Can I expect it to be open on Good Friday, or will I turn up again and find it closed !!!!
