I cannot sing the praises for this organisation highly enough! I had not had a bike since I was a teenager (I'm now 36) and I needed to start commuting to work through hilly Bristol. I booked lessons (they're free if you're local!!) with a local trainer and then bought my bike from Bike Back, based at HMP Bristol. I absolutely love riding around the city now. They helped me build my confidence and the helped me get a bike which would work for me. These guys are great!

I am not a very experienced or confident cyclist so, having just bought an electric bike, I was delighted to discover that Life Cycle UK offers up to three individual sessions to help build your confidence. Booking my first session was very easy, and my trainer, Peter, was very accommodating when I was unnerved by the strong winds and heavy rain forecast for the appointment and was happy to rearrange for the next day. It could not have been better! Peter understood exactly what I wanted and made me feel very safe. In the first five minutes he had stopped the mudguard rubbing on the back wheel, made the position of the brakes more comfortable on the handlebars, worked out how to remove the key from the battery and tightened the straps on my helmet so it fitted better. We then started with some training and he pointed out that I was not looking behind often enough, and gave me help with better signalling. His advice on road position and 'holding the road' was really valuable. We then rode round some quiet roads so I could put my new techniques into practice. I feel really lucky to have had this experience and look forward to the next two sessions, in which we will venture into busier and scarier areas.

Helpful staff and low affordable prices! Great service - no faffing around, the bike was fixed the very next day :) I would recommend coming here if you're in looking for a quick bicycle repair shop or if you're trying to repair your bike at the very last minute. All in all, a great business!

A great place to do a bicycle maintenance course. Fantastic communication throughout the booking process, expert and supportive teaching & great precautions in place to keep everyone covid-safe. Really just really great.

I highly recommend the life cycle team in Bristol. After they serviced and ordered new parts for my bike it rides better than when I first bought it. Thank you.

Excellent cycle training today; thoroughly enjoyed it, reminded me of little things to be aware of as a cyclist. Highly recommend
