Fed up with the spam, especially texts. Have emailed them and phoned them before to remove all my details but they continue to send texts and marketing materials via post. The marketing materials contain Allah's name, etc. and I do not feel comfortable disposing in the bin as a result. A charity I used to donate to it but will not be getting any more donations from me. Find a charity that does not spend your donations on huge amounts of marketing. Plus all the negative press. Avoid.

Paid for Hifz Orphan programme in Senegal for nearly 6 years thinking this child is being supported, I was originally told the children should finish the Quran in 2 years but then told the child can take longer. I continued hoping for Allah’s reward and telling myself all children learn at different pace but recently I asked if I can send a message to the child’s guardian, which they say you can do, it’s then I was told that they stopped working working with their partners in Senegal and that they can reassign me to a new child. No one can tell me when they stopped working with them and I was not informed but they continued to take the payments. This is absolutely disgraceful and they will not receive another penny from me every again. FEAR ALLAH!!

Their property portfolio is bigger than what they spend on the poor. If they really cared about the poor you don’t require multi million premises to operate. And soo much marketing. It’s a business not a charity

Penny Appeal are a great charity in terms of service. I have built a tube well and recieved my feedback report in a fairly reasonable time (12 months)

The feedback report was amazing! quality photos to share with my loved ones.

Improvment: Maybe try to send feedback report within 6-9 months.

When i spoke to some agent over the phone; they were very well mannered. So i enjoyed making the donation over the phone.

Overall- Good charity,
Thank you to the staff in the support centre.

They don't deliver on time and blame the royal mail. Will not deal with them ever again.

Response times via email are weekly, getting told one thing via calls vs via emails. I'd rather go with human appeal much better customer service.

It's a hard pill to swallow, but we must firmly hold these people accountable for endangering children. I'm especially upset because the organization takes funds from the Muslim community only to turn around and do this evil to vulnerable and innocent children. Astafarallah, may Allah be swift in punishment against these sick individuals. Once a charity has been exposed more than once, never again trust them brothers and sisters. Demand justice even if it is against yourselves, that is our way.
