Armitstead Barnett were extremely professional throughout the journey of putting mum and dad's house on the market with the end result of it being sold at Auction. The marketing was excellent, they were always either at the end of the phone or responded very quickly to emails. Can highly recommend them.

Armistead Barnett were efficient, friendly and professional from start to finish. Every aspect of our sale was handled with careful attention to detail, we have had no hesitation in recommending them to other people and they will certainly be our first choice in future.

I have taken some time to reflect and review the service, or lack of, that we received when we recently purchased a property on the market with Armistead Barnett.

I will keep it short and briefly summarise - little to no contact with us from the moment we put the offer in to completion date (so much so they didn't even know the completion date). Had to ask three times for a sold sign to be put on the for sale board even though a house on the market for double the price of ours round the corner proudly sported a sold sign within days (our board is still lying in our garden 6 weeks after completing). Had no contact with our solicitor at any point during the sale. Still had it listed as STC on Rightmove a week after completion. Haven't had a single call or email from them asking if all is ok etc even though Reeds Rains who sold our house have done so. Luckily Reeds Rains in Chorley were on hand to help us as Armistead Barnett did nothing. Definitely didn't earn their comission.
