The Cheese Room Deli

A lovely little shop packed to the rafters with all kinds of mouth watering loveliness. All kinds of cheeses, of which taste samples were offered and information about the cheese itself, all of which were greatly appreciated and helped us. There are also crackers, salami, soft drinks , fudges of all descriptions and healthy/ non gluten/ dairy free varieties.
The shop is smallish, but well laid out, extremely clean, very friendly and helpful staff, it even has access to The Press Room Cafe, which smelled lovely, but wasn't visited.
I'm very glad we visited this beautiful town, Castle and Cheese Room Deli.

Awesome cheese shop. So many gorgeous varieties of cheese you won't be disappointed. Also lots of liquors, jams relishes and biscuits sold here. Really good quality. The staff are always friendly and helpful with advice on flavours. I love shopping here😍

Wonderful little shop with nice selection of cheeses . Good location near to the castle.
The shop keeper lady was very nice and let us to taste the cheeses we were about to buy . Prices are reasonable so we bought a nice selection for our cheese board movie night 😍😍😍😍

Helpful & knowledgeable staff and delicious cheese! Wendy helped us create a (large) Welsh/Celtic cheeseboard for our wedding, recommending the main cheeses and handpicking others for us.
Everyone absolutely loved them, so much so I'll be running orders for our guests each time we visit!

Absolutely WONDERFUL cheese shop and deli. Lovely service, great knowledge of the local gins which they sold, and no pressure to buy anything. We did buy loads of various things to eat, gifts and delightful edible souvenirs, and would have spent more there if we had had more time. Highly recommended for cheese and treats.
