Just had the most wonderful cheese tasting experience here and would highly recommended a visit. All their cheeses are handmade all with natural ingredients and taste superb. And award winning family business who clearly have a passion for natural ingredients and perfection. For all you cheese lovers, this is a place to go.

A unique shop in Braod Street Blaernavon called the Blaernavon Cheddar Co. The cheddar is matured in the nearby Big Pit because of the unique features of the tunnels. It is then processed and flavoured in the shop. In addition they sell lots of different drinks, relishes etc. They could make ideal gifts to take home. They have won lots of awards for their cheeses.

Visiting Blaenafon Cheese Company was one of the highlights of our trip to Northern Wales! We loved sampling and learning from the owner about the beautiful and delicious cheeses. On top of the cheese sampling, we were offered really great advice about places to add to our touring list whilst in the area. So thankful that we visited Blaenafon Cheese Company- we enjoyed the day and nibbling on the cheese we purchased for the remainder of our trip!

Fabulous experience lovely to see and hear such passion about their business oh and the cheese was a bit of alright too

Can't say anything more positive about this amazing local Welsh cheese manufacturer. Aside the quality, taste, array of flavours the greeting and sincere desire to help is second to none. If you can't make it to their local shop try Morrisons! Had an amazing cheese night with my wife over Christmas 👏👏💯💯

Visited shop after being recommended.Warmly greeted by Lady Cheddar(Susan)who answered all my questions about the history of the shop and the area with enthusiasm and excellent knowledge. Purchased three cheeses and have tried the Big Pit Cheddar which tasted fantastic. I'm sure the others are going to be just as good.Well worth a visit to Blaenavon if only for the shop.🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀 (5 cheesy stars 😀)
