Chicken Cottage

After being a long time customer, I got my phone stolen at this place while waiting for my order. Staff is unwilling to help recover it, which makes me suspect of them being somehow involved.

I lived around here and ate here all the time. The people that worked there were really nice.

Bought Jalapeño Cheese Bites/Balls. The guy brought them from the back in a plastic container. Put them in the fryer but one fell on the floor. I was watching him very carefully. He then turned his head to the side and looked over his left shoulder to see if I noticed. When he glanced at me and saw that I was looking he picked it up off the floor and tossed it under the counter. He then walked round the back and got another one. This one he bring around in his bare hands. I say he tossed it under the counter but I don’t know if the piece actually left his hands. He could have concealed it and tossed his hand to make me think he threw it. So first time he bring them in a plastic takeaway container and next time he bring it round in his bare hands. I thought this was very unhygienic and if I was not looking I’m sure he would have put the one that fell on the floor into the fryer and gave it to me, without needing to style it out. Won’t be buying anything at this branch again. He also has a very rude attitude.

Favourite chicken shop in Streatham. Always good service and tasty food when I go there.

All nice especially burgers but chicken is greecy and loads of mayo on the burgers and chips remind me of mcdonalds

They take your money but do not deliver the food. The Justeat app shows my food was delivered seconds after I received a notification that it was on the way. No food was delivered!! Called the restaurant they said it was not their problem and laughed at me. Ridiculous service!!

Got the grilled chicken wings, very awful not grilled at all , boiled them and grease them with some sauce , not going there again for a grill 🤑
