Menu is large and offers a good variety of items you’d expect from somewhere with the name “Bird and Bun”: fajitas, burgers, grilled chicken, and an assortment of sides.
The nachos make a delicious starter, and the courgette fries are a side not to overlook. Fajitas were delicious and packed with flavour, and the grilled chicken was cooked perfectly.
The restaurant is in the old post office building and the interiors are large, spacious and fresh. A really fun and enjoyable evening!
My friend and I had a catch up lunch today. we had some great cocktails and both had a flame grilled chicken wrap which was tasty.
Staff are very attentive without being intrusive and pay attention.
Been here a couple of times with my family and must say it's worth stopping by for lunch when in Bromley x
The owner (we think it was the owner) was very aware of allergies and asked if I was coeliac when we asked about gluten free food. He accommodated our needs and changed some of the foods or ways of cooking (baked chips instead of frying so that its was gluten free/ didn't use lemon marinade but instead gave us a lemon wedge :))
He also advised on which food were not halal.
We ordered the chicken combo 😋 🙌
Pudding was also good, we had the brownie and the cheesecake.
4 stars add I thought my ceasar salad had to much dressing on it - I was difficult to find a healthier option - and I found it a bit pricey.
If you want to order what they do well, then stick to the chicken dishes. The rotisserie chicken is fantastic, however I do regularly have the kofta, chicken caesar salad, I have had the chicken dish that had a variety of different types of chicken dishes as well as their wraps and Sunday roasts. If you do not want chicken, I'd recommend trying their duo fajita with prawn and steak or their veggie wrap with a side of padron peppers.
They occasionally have offers on their drinks, however I quite like their cocktails and don't mind paying full price. The price bracket is standard for the local area, you'd be looking at paying around £9 for a cocktail, £4 for a beer/ cider, £10 for a wrap / sandwich and £15-£25 for a main depending on what you opt for.
The staff are attentive, any time we have had issues with our orders, it has been instantly rectified and I would recommend. I'd like to see a bigger dessert range and although the food is great, I'd like to have higher quality accompaniments, such as the horseradish which could do with a bit more of that burn it's known for - however I do feel they do the best chicken roast dinner in Bromley!
