Although I have given other reviews of this amazing place, I was gobbedsmacked by the bad reviews lately...Clearly, we do not have the same taste buds! Dragons Pearl is ever so delicious and is cooking for people searching for flavours before quantity. If you want truly tasty asian cuisine, then look no further. At least, after eating perfectly sized portions, I have no sense of guilt over calories. Hence why I do not order from the regular chinese take away places around Witney, dishes bathing in oil and absolutely tasteless, as the sauce is the same, whatever you order (with extra chilli to cover the lack of taste). Dragons Pearl is like no others, thank God for that!

Great food, friendly staff and decently priced. Never had a bad experience here in 3 years. (The chips are the best I've ever eaten!)

This place is our new go to place for Chinese takeaway/delivery. The food is always fantastic and delivery is always quick. Good portion sizes and plenty of king prawns.

Tonight I had the worst takeaway ever. The order was supposed to be fulfilled in 45 minutes and I had to phone at 1 hr 15mins. When it arrived the rice was over-cooked, the sweet and sour prawn had very little batter covering and the sauce no real taste. The spring roll was undercooked and all but the 'mother Yau's pork belly' was nearly cold. Apparently, as an apology, I got 3 fortune cookies,
I lived in Hong Kong for a year, so I know what I'm talking about. This meal ended up in my bin! Never again! Tasteless, lukewarm and overcooked.

Every dish tasted the same- burnt and charred. Thought we'd branch out as our usual Chinese is closed over Christmas. Wish we'd not bothered. Really not very nice at all. Disappointed to say the least

The worst takeaway we have had first came stone cold so warmed it up then the crispy beef was burnt and we paid 44 pounds to go in the bin never will I go back

Absolutely love this Chinese, the meal for one is great, just the right size. Very tasty, always consistent and hot when delivered. The staff are always friendly. Thank you!

We were staying in a nearby hotel, obviously no restaurant due to Covid. So thought we'd have a takeaway. This was without doubt the worst we've ever had. Christ knows what they did to the food. My wife actually spat her chicken back out and left pretty much everything. She said that she cannot remember a worse meal. My meal didn't actually taste of anything and the globules of sweet and sour sauce clumping their way out of the paper cup were a delight to behold. If the locals think this is good then god knows what their own cooking must be like. My advice Avoid... Its not like its even cheap. I had to give it 1 star in order to review it, but in truth that's one star too many. Maybe they should change the name to Minging Palace to better describe their culinary offerings.
