Me and my partner tried this place for the first time and we wanted to say how disappointed we are. This is possibly the worst Chinese we have ever had, the food was all very over cooked and of poor quality. The chicken in the dishes was dry and tasteless and the chips were like cardboard, the satay sauce also tasted very odd. We called to complain, only to be told that we were not entitled to a refund because we had eaten some of the food (a third at most). Eventually we managed to talk them into a refund of £5, which considering the quality of the food is unacceptable. Terrible customer service and terrible food, avoid this place.

Poor quality. Bad service at the weekend add an hour to the expected times given no customer service skills often things missing from order like rice ! Wouldn't recommend I won't be using again after several chances.

Staying in the area on business so I decided to collect my meal. On arrival I was sceptical as the restaurant doesn’t have a welcoming appeal. On entering there were children running around in the small ordering/waiting area. The children disappeared behind the counter as I made my order and were now playing in the food preparation area. I made a simple order of salt and chilli ribs and Special chow mein.
The meal took 5 minutes to arrive.
The food itself was just ok, nothing special, There was no flavour explosion or wow factor with the chow mein and the ribs were a little dry for me.
I wouldn’t order from here again. I would question the food hygiene rating of 4 with the children entering the food preparation area

Takeaway food arrived cold. When called to complain the customer service was awful. No word of apology and they just said that the food ordered goes cold quickly. As if it was our fault the food arrived cold. If they can’t deliver dishes warm to customers then the dishes should not be on the menu.

Ordered a beef chowmein that was dreadful, tasted like fish... must be using the same pans for multiple dishes. Won’t be ordering again.

Used to be great however havnt been in about 2 months as they weren't open whenever I fancied it, my gf went today as we fancied some chicken balls so she got a few other bits to and its terrible, the egg fried rice is an unreal tiny portion, the chicken balls had like half a chicken nuggets worth of chicken and the rest was just batter and suuuper greasy compared to before the chips were hot but stiff as if refried and the crackers were stale, the only thing that was usual quality was the sweet and sour, we WILL NOT be ordering from here again as this was rediculous for the price

My favourite Chinese in Nottingham! Really accommodating to coeliac or gluten free diets and vegans too! Just awesome!

If you want a quick and easy way to get diarrhoea, China garden Does the job well, you can clearly see man microwaves the food then waits 5 minutes to make it look like they made it fresh. Man did you dirty.
