The River Dragon

Delicious, plentiful and great value! We had takeaway menu for two people and I was amazed to collect it in a big box rather than usual carrier bag. We had delicious mixed starters, 2 soups, sweet and sour chicken, salt and pepper squid (really good), mixed vegetables and rice. Each portion was much bigger than I normally get in London and really hot/freshly cooked. Highly recommended and will definitely be returning.

Fabulous Chinese take away. Freshly made and decent portions. Especially loved Sweet and Sour Chicken which had unusual citrus aroma. Possibly the best Chinese take away I ever had in the UK.

Without doubt the worst restaurant I have ever been too. On a positive note the young lad serving us was fine.
Waited over two hours for main course. Salt and pepper ribs shocking. I half expected to see teeth marks in the bone as they appeared to have already been devoured of any meet. Deep fried salt n pepper on a bone.
Spring rolls and prawn toast probably cooked at the start of lock down last year and re-cooked for us.
Don't waste your time or money it was rubbish.

We had a takeaway from here last night, despite the 1 star food hygiene rating on the door (the other Chinese was shut) so we thought we would try it. Very glad we did! The lady serving was lovely, there was probably a half an hour wait which we weren’t advised about but we just nipped next door for a drink- the food was delicious and well priced- would definitely recommend and would eat there again

Recommended by friends, the food was pretty decent. Despite arriving after the obligatory 15 minutes to collect the takeaway it was another 15 minute wait but nothing to worry me.
Having read one groups assassination of the place on TripAdvisor I was concerned but I'd ignore those reviews as this is a good takeaway.

Visited last week had a takeaway meal and my partner and I both agreed that it was the worst Chinese meal we have ever eaten. We both has the crispy beef which was very over cooked and the rice tasted like it had been microwaved. The whole place looks like it could do with a good deep clean if we ever visit the area again we will not be going there.

Awful service. 2.5hrs to get a greasy starter.
The toilets were disgusting 🤢. Looked shared with people upstairs all their Flip flops were outside. The toilet had never seen bleach) no exaggeration!
Made me dread to think of the standard of cleanliness of the kitchen.
We left without the main course. It was that bad.
Truly one to avoid!!!!

Ordered a take away over the phone on New Years Eve. The person taking my order was very friendly and the food was ready when they said it would be to collect (only 30 minutes)
All the food was hot and tasty- will definitely be ordering from here again.
