The Crispy Duck

This place deserves the praise it gets. The signature crispy duck is succulent and, well, crispy and the plum sauce is masterfully constituted. The stir fried soba is homely and very tasty, the chicken in it tender. The only shortcoming was the soft shell crab sushi roll. It came apart occasionally but the taste was on point. Not bad at all taking into consideration the family running the restaurant is actually from Malaysia. Regardless, the staff are attentive and very professional and the decor is plain but atmospheric. The music selection is also tasteful.

It can not be better than having a delicious roast duck and gorgeous sushi on Friday evening. FYI, Mr lee is so nice and so funny.

Food was excellent and very tasty.
Our group of 5 ended up sharing most of the dishes.
2 trainee waiting staff meant the ' main man' was a bit harassed but service was good and speedy. Reasonable priced but probably a bit more than 'student' so the clientele were a bit older than some of the places we've tried in Cardiff.

One of the most delicious and top of the Asian cuisine. The food is fresh and amazingly tasty. The owner is the same person who run the resturant which provide full customer engagement and best service. I been eating here for almost a year and its the best Asian restaurant in Cardiff 1000% search no more. You are at the right place. Enjoy!👍

Great food there, strong recommend! dine in few times and today I decided to have some takeaways, absolutely fantastic, as good as I had in restaurant. The Chicken katsu is delicious, juicy and crispy. Will definitely visit again!! Better to book a table before you go, it’s so busy there. 😂

Hallelujah I have finally found a decent Chinese restaurant in Cardiff! Restaurants come and go but The Crispy Duck has gained a reputation for excellent food and service. I dined at the restaurant and had the prawn toast and duck roll to start and then the sweet beer beef. All of it was beautifully presented and tasty.
