New Hong Kong (No delivery)

I have to completely disagree with the previous review. I have used this take away twice now and both occasions the food has been really fresh and and the shop always busy.

Their vegetables are really fresh and the noodles superb. Far more authentic (although good) than do do (around the corner).

No greasy food here!

Well I've read some really awful reviews, but I think the people in question were either drunk, on another planet or both.
I just popped down for sweet and sour chicken balls and special fried rice. The pleasant young lady took my order and literally 10 minutes later it was ready.
The place is spotlessly clean and there's a few news papers to read.
The food was fabulous, I really enjoyed it and to be honest, I was surprised by the number of chicken balls, there was enough for 2 people.
The rice had chicken, prawns, pork and peas, it was delicious. I will be visiting again as this was my first visit, but not my last. Thank you :)

I ordered from there a few times before and it was ok, but yesterday was a big disappointment. I ordered several dishes with pork, beef and duck for myself and my family, and literally in all our dishes the meat was extremely fatty (more fat than meat in actual fact, so much so a lot of it had to be binned, which I hate doing as I hate wasting money). This might have been a one off but it has put us off ever buying from there again, even more so as it wasn’t exactly cheap neither.

I have bought food from here several times, and have never been disappointed. Every dish is excellent, and the food is as good now as it was two years ago when I first tried it.

It's a pity that they don't deliver, but the staff are friendly, the service is fast, and it's possible to call ahead and place your order in advance. They also have a Food Hygene Rating of 5/5. The importance of this score is paramount to me. After all, would you want your food cooked by someone who didn't follow the best possible hygene practices?

Love their Chinese but unfortunately ordered sesame prawn toast on Friday. My partner started being ill on Saturday and I have been ill all day today, definitely the prawns without any doubt 🤢 god I feel so bad, now started being sick, great 🤮still not well 🤒

Just started using again last week was very nice this week order was totally different to what I got the week previous look like two different dishes even though it was the same just crying none of us get food poisoning Food was Luke warm even though I had to wait extra time on the phone delivery would not recommend to anybody go elsewhere as I will be sticking to Holston
