The New Cantonese

I have been eating here for 8yeats and the food is vary good and for what you get it's amazing value, all the cartons are stuffed with delusions meals. The chicken is top quality plus the sorses make this my number one for me ,Family and my mates when my Mate's pop over and get the munchies 😊

As far as the basics; the food was delivered quickly by a courteous driver and was nice and hot, can't fault them there.
The sweet and sour chicken balls were good but for me the chicken fried rice was a little dry and I found the satay main totally lacked a strong peanut taste and was therefore a bit bland.

Had a home delivery. Veg spring rolls was soft and under cooked. Soft in the centre.
Missing item from order and had to ring back up. Was abit expensive for the potion sizes.
Disappointed with food, but friendly delivery drivers.

Positives. Food turned up quick and it tasted hot and fresh. Delivery woman was happy and polite.
Negatives. Specifically asked for no onions in my satay chicken. Turned up and the tray was literally 50% onions. Way too many. Hardly anything left once I picked them out. The sauce was very watery. Supposed to be peanut based and could not taste that at all. I doubt I will order from here again.

Excellent food quality, piping hot when it arrived and pleasant driver too.

Duck pancakes - Juicy shredded duck, hoisin a little thin but great flavour.
Beef Chow Mien - Full of flavour.
Beef in Black-bean - Flavour was great, beef tender and nice peppery sauce too.

First start ordering from here....

Pros - fast delivery and lovely delivery lady

Cons - for their prices I was expecting better quality.

Duck pancakes were microwaved and the rest of our meals was quite greasy and salty.

Not a good value for money

I've only been a couple of times and can't compare it to any others in the area which I'll do in the future 🔮 but what I had was pretty tasty, fresh and hot, I'd definitely go a 3rd time when I'm not in the mood to cook!

Hands down best Cantonese we have had in Gloucester since we can remember. Really delicious, hot and fresh. Ordered through Just eat. Will definitely go back 👍
