New Wing Wa

Fantastic! Food arrived 15mins early, all 5 dishes were tasty and the texture on batter/vegetables proved it was freshly cooked. The particular high point for me was the Peking Spare Ribs, fell off the bone, taste was authentic and the prices are very sensible. Highly recommended!

I questioned the price and repeated my order 3 time's
Lady said yes that is the right price
But she can't make out the difference between
Grilled fillet steak
With gravy sauce
And
Mixed grill

Portions were large however food was very bland with little flavour. Chow main lacked onions etc and was a plate of bland noodles with chicken.

Singapore chowmein again no flavour and a big lack of meat .

Delivery was 40 minutes late, rang restaurant and the guy pretended he couldn't understand me. I ordered crab and noodle soup but got chicken and noodle not soup. Poured it on my plate and no liquid whatsoever... this takeaway used to be so great but I will not be ordering from here again.

After asking for recommendations online I decided to try New Wing Wa for the first time. I'm so glad I did, it arrived quickly and piping hot and so tasty. Absolutely thrilled and will definitely use again :-)

If I had the option to give it 0* I would. Placed an order for collection its a 20 minute drive to get there from where we are in Coalville picked up the order and was charged for the full order got back to the family to find half of it missing rung up and they said we were lying about it and it had all been collected yet we were looking at it infront of us. They then said we could go back and collect the extra bits after an argument with them, however with the distance and the fact the family were sat around the table this was not an option. They were not helpful and haven't offered any other solution very disappointing.

NEW REVIEW: after being a customer for 3 months today I've finally had to change me review. Our chicken dishes today had a squidgy tough texture and some peices were pink inside! After the return the staff member told us it was cooked and that blood was normal in chicken! Then basically threw a refund at us when all we wanted was new food. This is similar to how the staff usually are, except the food is usually nice so we do not mind. After this we went to another Chinese in ashby and found the quality was better, staff was lovely and food was fresh.

OLD REVIEW:Not only did we recieve our order quickly during a busy time, but the girl at the till was so sweet and smiley, and it was the best Chinese food we had a in a very long time! The chow mein was actaully saucy and tasted brilliant and the sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style was warm and fresh! Our new local! Will definitely be buying from you again!

Worst Chinese food we have eaten in a very long time. Usually go to ck house but couldn't get through on the phone. We ordered beef curry, sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style, chicken red thai curry, salt and chilli crispy prawns and bbq pork chow mein all rubbish. It's like ordering Chinese food 25 years ago. What a disappointment no better than a Chinese meal from Tesco's no way are the chefs Chinese or Asian if they are they should be disappointed in themselves they would definitely not eat this substandard food. I would ring back and complain but what is the point we are so angry as we were really looking forward to a Chinese takeaway
