Whitton Chungs Chinese Takeaway

Food was good last time - though limited veggie options and only mini veggie spring rolls. - But, as I'm typing, we have been waiting almost two and a half hours for our food and it still isn't here. No contact from restaurant, had to chase, and still waiting. I realise some places are busier than usual at the moment, but this is excessive. We have household members who need to eat at certain times for medical reasons and ordered early.

Good hot flavoursome food. Never had to wait on arrival after phoning the order through.

Me and my family have been ordering from Whitton Chungs for years now! I can honestly say it is the best Chinese takeaway in the whole of London. We are never ever disappointed with the food that arrives. It always taste beautiful and always comes hot! And the staff are very welcoming and kind. Thank you so much for being our main take out location, you guys are the best!!!!

Regular customer. Just ordered today. The sweet and sour chicken was good. I would give more stars but the delivery driver was rude and had a complete attitude problem which ruined my experience. Won't be ordering here again.

Last night we got a meal from Chungs for mothers day. Previously we had eaten from a very nice Chinese but one which was quite a bit more expensive, the prices at Chungs were so reasonable that it made me question the quality. However we ordered due to the many good reviews and I have to say we won't be going back to the other place. I judge a good takeaway on a few things, quality of the vegetables, how greasy the food is and the overall presentation of the food and all that comes with it. Chungs excels in all areas and we are really happy we found it.

Valentines Day.
Ordered at 5.43pm.
Said it would 1 hour wait.
At 7.41pm we cancelled.
2 hour wait for food.
They never called to explain or apologise.
We called 3 times. Every time they said 20 minutes more.
They should call us and explain why so long. They never did.
I cancelled the order in the end as I knew it would be cold. So at 8.15pm they turn up and call 4 times. And offer us the food at half price £22. Which we said no. We don't want cold food. So 36 minutes after we cancelled they turned up to offer us this food half price. We ordered from Whitton Tandoori, hot and 1 hour delivery as promised.
