New Welcome Chinese Takeaway

AVOID. Worst Chinese I’ve ever had, by far. Photo is of crispy aromatic duck, it was more like deep fried beef; meat mixed with batter/ flour. It didn’t even resemble aromatic duck. Don’t waste your money, avoid it like the plague.

The New Welcome is a Chinese take away shop. The staff is very warm n friendly. The food seems good and tasty. I think there is a new management now.

Although we were a bit concerned after looking at the reviews. We ordered a takeaway on friday night. The food was really well presented and delicious, the roasted duck and rice a lil bit salty for our taste but nevertheless it tasted really good. We were also given free veg spring rolls which was really kind. We will be ordering more in the future.

Good sized portions, decent price, was very polite when i ordered for collection. Im going there again today, think its going to be my regular Saturday night takeaway.
Update,
ordered from here tonight. Got home to plate the food, everything was fine until I open the rice and it was gone off, has a terribal smell. I took it back and got a refund, they said it must have been the soy source...and the curry is spicier than a vindaloo, like they just dumped a hole pot of black pepper in one dish

Ordered take away ....Tasty Chinese food ...chicken was delicious...fried rice ordered in 3 variations ...prawn fried rice, chicken fried rice n veg fried rice. Got prawn sesame toast n prawn crackers complimentary with the order.

The new welcome takeaway does some very good food , the service is friendly and helpful been going there over the years and despite the current in management it still retains its good food and friendly service

Been ordering from this Chinese restaurant just over a year. Tasty food, good value for money and always been given free complimentary item with every order. It is the only Chinese restaurant we order our food from. Highly recommend it. Thank you
